Founder's Story
Laura Minard always knew that she was meant to do more with her nursing career. After several years of working in the ICU, she knew that she didn't have much time left in traditional healthcare. Burnout and career misalignment were becoming louder and louder, and that is when she found Nurse Coaching.
Laura did her nurse coach certification in 2018. She quit her job right out of the gate and was able to create some momentum and success in the world of nurse entrepreneurship. In late 2019, after many of their colleagues asked for help getting their businesses off the ground, The Successful Nurse Coaches Inc. was born.
After mentoring over 400 nurse coaches for more than four years, The Successful Nurse Coaches Inc. began to see more clearly that 95% of nurse coaches were doing some form of Life Coaching, not Health Coaching. Health is a major part of our clients' lives and is often impacted by other areas: relationships, limiting beliefs, work-life balance, emotional status, etc. Laura saw a need for more education around being able to support all areas with clients with confidence and more resources.
The Nurse Life Coach Academy is the culmination of over ten years of full-time coaching experience, several different coaching programs and certifications that prepares nurse coaches to confidently coach any client in any area of their life.
This program is designed for the RN who desires a private coaching practice, or the RN who wants to bring coaching to their organization.
